I think that when you are dead that you should get true sight.

It sucks when there are priests around but you cannot do anything to detect them and your stuck there waiting for a different one to get on.

Maybe only give it when you are actually in the river, not when your manifested or something.

Would be very helpful for getting help when your dead.

Nah.

Even though it's a fine concept RP-Wise, It doesn't provide that much of an aid, and allows the possibility of abuse.

How can it be abused?

If you only get it while your in the river, I really dont think abuse could be made. *shrugs*

I can think of a few abuses off the top of my head.

Using dead allies to keep check on the who lists to see what members of a certain cabal are under a certain spell.

Manifesting to scouts from the river in order to pinpoint where they are camouflaged.

Sending harrassing tells from the river, annoying the crap out of the person that killed you (And they can't do anything about it because the dead guy has true sight and nothing better to do.)

Besides, priests aren't invis unless they're busy anyway. The only real problem is if they're in a no-light room. If anything, give dead people infravision and leave it at that (And as far as I know, dead people might even -get- infravision)

PS. And let's not forget the impact that true sight would have on another certain cabal spell, which would be a huge problem.

Well if that scout dont want them to know where they are, they should never greet them.

Im sure wanted lists are good enough to know if these certain players are under this certain spell.

Lots of priests in tribunals are invis all the time from guards, there are staffs of invis, and also vials and stuff for invis. Fae-rins and I think 1 more pet make people invis and priests use them alot. Halfling priests hide. Theres just lots of things that keep dead people from detecting priests.

The +'s out weigh the -'s

Infravision, yes. True sight, no.

Odds are if a priest is willing to help, he's visible.

I disagree, while there might be more +'s, the quality of the -'s dissuades me from this idea. Never seems to be that much of a problem - if the priest is going through measures to remain unseen, he is probably too busy to accept rez requests.

I do agree wholeheartedly to give dead guys infravision, though.

At least detect hidden and detect invis then. *shrugs*

There is just lots of priests who always run around invis.
Yotbol for instance, he is online a decent amount but is hardly ever visible.

No.

The problem isn't that the dead are lacking anything, it's that priests are running around invis and hidden when they should be visible being rezmonkies.

Less invisible priests.
