The skill has it's uses, they are just extremely narrow in focus. Far, far more narrow than they should be. Within that extremely narrow focus, the skill is good though.

You're dumb, persuade :enemy giant barb: quaff recall

This will not work. Persuade doesn't affect targets already engaged in combat.

Just another of the "high costs" that overly narrows the focus of this skill's use.

Hey D what is the chances you will modify Persuade to make it useful?

While you are at the whole taunt thing, NOW that is something a bard's magical tounge should be able to do.

Retraction:

You can persuade someone who is already engaged in combat as long as you yourself are not. Which means, you have to be third rank or second with no reacher.

If you are not singing as a bard in the third rank, hell in any situation where you're involved in GPvP, just so you can try at a cost of two rounds+ of lag to make one tank quaff recall...assuming they aren't prone when you do...then you're truly an idiot and deserve to have your pfile deleted.
