Areas with like Amatuer-Grandmaster range on the area list, all need to have their familiarity limits tweaked. Go to somewhere like Elisair or Sith'a'niel at mentor~? You get half a level and you're at "back of your hand".

Change to quests was completely idiotic, unless I'm going to get like half a level of XP for doing a quest that IS my level.

The quest change encourages you to perform quests at the level for which they were designed, so that the quests can break up grinding as designed, instead of trying to save them all for the last few levels.

Both of the changes also continue my philosophy that there should be neither any reason nor expectation for every character to get to GM. But I will note that post-changes, builders will be putting more emphasis on creating high level areas and quests instead of low level ones, since the time spent in low level areas is now less than before.

Question, how is a player supposed to know which level the quest was designed for? Is the level for the quest's starting point rigidly matched against the "level" of the zone that starting point is in?

I ask, because some of the zones these quests start in have huge level ranges. For example, quests in cities.

Oh wow, I didn't even pick up on that. I thought that change was just cleaning up the appearance of it. Thanks!

Okay, changes to shops are ridiculous Dulrik. You have to sell like 50 things to make an obsidian now. Except...nothing's price went down, so that obsidian is gone in like 5 seconds when you go buy like 5 vials or something.

It's back how to it was years ago. You're better off going and spam killing NPCs for coin.

First off, demand for any specific item is calculated based on the purchase and sales history of the item over a rolling two-week period. The starting demand (which was set by player actions) was recorded over the last two weeks, which was obviously BEFORE the actual price changes went into affect. Prices right now reflect the "old" non-dynamic economy. Prices will slowly adjust over the next two weeks and will never stop adjusting. Going forward, it is less likely that prices will go as high or as low as they are right now, because people will change their shop behavior based on continuously updated prices.

Whether or not it will be "better" to spam kill NPCs for coin depends on how you adjust to the changes. It's intentional that earning excess money will require new entrepreneurial strategies. In the meantime, you may want to tap your bank funds until you adjust. Over half the world's currency is in a bank account somewhere, so feel free to use it.

Overall I like the changes.

I do find it very difficult to read the shop listings though.

Is this going to be a world-wide system, or different for each Kingdom?

What are the mechanics of dirt cleansing? Can you do it anytime, or only when your group is not in combat?
