The choice was either changing it this way or making it so that groups constantly fall out of sync with each other if you didn't manually update your speed.

In other words, this way vs the status quo. I'm against the new way primarily because it's often extremely convenient to be at a different speed than the leader. If you wanted to throw logic in the mix, then you could always image the group reformed just before entering the room, and the stragglers got tired and aren't prepped (hence the lag they experience) whereas the runners are ready to go.

No, the status quo wasn't an option because it was flawed. Maybe you can explain why being at a different speed was so convenient. If it's because it meant you could coast behind your group leader and spend less PE to get around at the faster speed, that's what I consider exploiting a flaw.

The group speed change makes perfect sense. Good change.

Pages need to be added to the shop lists. I noticed an issue with this right off when people were selling lots of items and I was getting a list that I had to scroll up the buffer for.

The quests at low levels are a good idea and a solution for completing some of the lower level ones could be a refresh for the player. I've personally enjoyed questing at lower levels, because I want to get spells and skills without the monotony of grinding on weaker NPCs. Also, I agree with sleeper that there is literally only a couple people who could possibly know where the all the quests are and even more how to complete them. I have a pretty vast quest knowledge (retrospectively), but I only know about 40-50 quests and how to complete them. It could be more, but definitely not much more. One of the things that really needs to be updated are some of the main pages of the website and especially the quests. I'd be happy to help with this and I think it would be a great idea to indicate who starts the quests in their respective areas, not just the area that possibly contains quests and certainly not how to complete them. Also, I think it would be prudent to go through and determine which quests are broken still, because I've posted several and bug logged them as well (Jahdi's Poultice, The Nephew in Borderlands Keep). Some are very ambiguous or definitely out of their scope. Of course, the quest Aztalyn sends you on can be completed with an ally, so long as they're stunning.

Very spectacular update though, and I appreciate it very much, as I'm sure we all do. You and the IMMs have been doing some very extensive work and I couldn't be more grateful.

The recalling into inn's pretty much sucks.

You should make it to where you are wanted in that city then you recall to the stones.

For some reason I was wanted in nerina when I logged on, and was attacked by two guards in the inn. I stunned them and moved a room over. Guess what, I cant recall out of the city because I will just recall back to the inn. :(

I dont think this one circumstance where a player was negatively affected by the code should at all suggest that it sucks. Its your job to keep track of what Kingdoms you are outlawed in and not to mention who quits in an Inn where they are outlawed? Seriously jeckel, don't blame the game because you made a mistake.

I actually think that the inn-recall change is fantastic and strongly advocate for it to stay that way. I've seen quite a bit of roleplay come out of it, even in inns that used to be rarely frequented.

Also, unless something is seriously wrong with my character, only "recall" gets you back to the inn. If you use the spell of "word of recall" you get transfered to the portal stones of your home town.

I think a better question is, why are you a citizen of a kingdom you are outlawed in?

Uh, you can get outlawed for defending your home.

Ah, I see the problem here. I'm mistakenly outlawing with banishment for some reason, despite the fact that I know the difference between the two. /sigh

Perhaps an 'extradition' flag that brings a citizen's case immediately to the attention of the ruling tribunal and a temporary stones recall? That seems like the sort of feature that should exist regardless of this change to recalling, as it's solidly based in kingdom affairs, citizen vigilantes.
