Besides the way you describe jhorleb, you seem to abuse it in the sence[sic] of telling, quafting[sic], get and remove.

I haven't been charmed in over 2 yrl years spanning at least 3 characters. So no, I have not "abused" my way out of charm. The point, my dear internet friend, is that one needs to consider two things here: balance and realism. If charm person is meant to be "enthrall" as Ardith pointed out, then yes, we should be restricted in how many commands we can type into our characters. HOWEVER - for game balance purposes if you're going to make the spell that powerful, it needs to have more save opportunities, be a higher level, higher cost, and longer cast time to bring it into line with other spells like finger of death, petrification, etc.

It is to bad that the spell is as powerful as it is now, however people that were charming had to deal with people that abuse the game. Since no one could play nice D changed it so you could not do anything without your master telling you what to do.
Let me get this straight. Since people weren't RPing "correctly" a spell which was never well-defined (i.e., just how much control over one's mind the caster had), we should leave the newly modified spell overpowered rather than consider what might be done to bring it into balance? That's what you're saying, right?
I have an idea. You work on your spelling tests and the adults will discuss the issue. Sound good to you?
