Why not just leave everything in copper? A newbie can figure out how to use a bank, and has to deposit 3400 to deposit 3 platinums and 4 gold. Why not make the store listed item 135 copper? For 1 gold 3 silver and 5 copper?
I wanted to say this last night when I saw this idea.

Please change the format of the shops. It is really hard to see what each shop has.

I thought about this idea originally, but I think if you make the numbers the correct color (i.e. black for obsidian, white for plat, gold for gold, and brown for copper), I can't see there being too many issues. And I wouldn't mind seeing everything in copper either. Converting isn't *that* hard. :P

I'm just sure when the last time I was shopping and saw things listed in pennies. But I could adapt. At the very least, getting shop items back to one line listing in ANY form is a plus.

I'm adding a paging system for the next update.

Also, were you aware you can type in 'list [item type]' and it will only show items of that type? So you could type:

list weapon
list armor
list food
list drink container

I'm guessing most people don't know about that and it might help.

I don't understand why one line is superior. The SK standard is a window that is 80 character wide and the amount of information I'm trying to convey now makes it impossible to do that in one line. Even if we used only copper pieces, which I think would also be more confusing, it would still be averaging more than 80 characters per item.

Nope, having it mentioned in the helpfile or an announcement would be good.

It's always been in the help file, if you read in detail, but it didn't mention the optional parameter in the syntax section. I fixed the help file last night when I realized it was probably a seldom known feature.

I realize that some people do, but 80 is still the standard. Just like the standard background is black, even though people can change that too.
