I would like to see something in the lines of different levels of xp needed for different skills based on level. So there would be a check to see your class to see what skills you have at what level and charge a set xp amount that is more in tune with the new levels.


Stop whining, you can just wait a few levels before learning your skills.

This comment defeats the whole view of this mud. D wants a place where level doesnt matter but forces us to grind more to get the same result. No that is wrong and should be looked at.

New system is very limited in how many items can be sold and where. Major suckage.

No more unlimited of an item.

Code:
[ 6] A tattered cross-striped shirt with short fringes - a superb medium cloth armor
    Price: 2 gold, 1 silver.

[ 7] A tattered cross-striped shirt with short fringes - a very good medium cloth armor
    Price: 1 gold, 9 silver, 1 copper.

[ 8] A tattered cross-striped shirt with short fringes - a very good medium cloth armor
    Price: 1 gold, 9 silver, 5 copper.

[ 9] A tattered cross-striped shirt with short fringes - a brand new medium cloth armor
    Price: 2 gold, 2 silver, 2 copper.

[10] A tattered cross-striped shirt with short fringes - a very good medium cloth armor
    Price: 1 gold, 8 silver, 9 copper.


There is a limit of five listings of a single item in the shop. Normally this wouldn't matter because all listings are grouped together, but because you have five different qualities of items in the shop, it still counts as five listings. The bugs are 1) that some of these are showing the same quality and so should be in the same listing and 2) if the item would go into an existing listing, he should still be interested in it.

So if two items being sold at a shop are the same quality, but different enchants, they'll stack?

No, I specifically set it so enchanted items would not combine. I believe that part is working.

I was also told that certain merchants would only accept certain goods now, I thought all merchants were to accept anything?

THe listing is very klunky and hard to read.

That was certainly never said. If a shop deals in an item type, he should accept it. But you will no longer be allowed to sell armor to a food shop, for example.
