Hrm, all seems the same, didn't quest this time though, so it took me some more hours.

It means if you resist a spell, it heals you a bit. From what I've found, it's only a very, very little bit.

I can't say I've tested this at all, but if I am not mistaken the level of the spell also depends on the amount of healing you receive. It probably varies.

It means that if you resist a spell, you will get healed for a certain amount of HP, similar to a healing spell.

As has been discussed already in this thread (But albeit buried behind quite a few things), the amount healed depends on both the strength of the spell (Which factors in spell type and caster level) and also the amount of total MR on your character, on what seems to be a linear scale. The example Dulrik gave was that someone with 100% MR (A barbarian with 10 MR trains, for example) will heal half as much from any given spell than someone with 200% MR, and heal 4 times more than someone with only 25% MR.

Dulrik also stated that resistance's healing factor won't ever be able to outperform a simple healing spell, but that is still to be determined.

Maybe Iam not getting it but I have not seen the ability to train MR anywhere. Is it something else or is it really MR?

It's only for barbarians.

And on top of that, a barbarian can only train MR with stat trains gained apprentice level and beyond.
