Bondservant, GM tribunal guard, tribunal guard's dominate, pet, delf sorc, charm1, charm 2.

It is entirely possible for a competent player to have a group of seven, all members of the group doing damage.

One guy with a bow.

This discussion just became pointless.

Pretty sure that's not at all what he was talking about.

The classes that can get several NPCs to fight for them need that advantage. Necromancers, sorcerors. Im pretty sure the consensus as of late is that casters are completely OBSOLETE when their victim is equipped with the right enchantments which are "-so- easy to get". There's no instant handicap given to melee classes. Magma spray which is supposed to be one of the most powerful attack spells is completely crippled by enchantments. It's worth it more for a caster to zap/recite the insant-win charm person wand/scroll which completely extracts a player from combat.

I think there is a good balance here. And be reminded that there are basically only two bondservants. I've never seen anyone waste their time equipping Erne for PK, he's good for lower level characters though.

Just one note. There are 0 enchantments that will really affect magma spray. Reflex will help stop the cling effect and the double dmg effect, but it is inevitable that in a fight that the victim will fail that save and then afterwords it doesn't matter, double dmg and cling only happens once. There are spells that can and will hamper the spell, but that is it.

A spry male gnome unleashes a torrent of magma on you, charring your flesh severely!

GM magma on a 49 grey aura with prot and sanc and a pretty good amount of MP, I agree with Peso magma is the sux.

I don't know how much dmg it does now. Although, Magma was supposed to ignore MP.

This isn't about magma... dunno how it ended up being that.
Great many warlocks have succeeded very well in their doing, without a 2nd or 3rd powerful NPC in their "solo" party.

The bondservants should definately be further restricted or just taken out. Replacing NPCs with pc's due to low number of players or whatever the reasoning was, really isn't very constructive.
