As the only exclusively Dark Kingdom it's appropriate to have advanced trainers for the evil classes. Why it isnt so already is beyond me. As for cost, I was thinking something equivalent to the Rainbow Tower for sorcs. Just a few spells, but trained to verygood/suberb, and at a high cost.

Things I could potentially see replacing bondservants?

-tanso shop
-cloth shop
-fleakers
-parchment
-weak burning hands staff
-mid armor wand
-advanced necromancer trainers
-flight staves
- (+)stat jewlery

Some of these things should already belong in the struggling North -without- a tradeoff. But I think the servants are fine.

I am all for making the north amazing if we can get rid of the bondservants. As it stands now, the north SUCKS for newbies and there are NO good trainers.

I don't think the two need be mutually exclusive. If it does suck for newbies/ need more trainers, that should be on the list of things to address separate from whether bondservants stay or go.

You do know that as the leader of your cabal/tribunal, it is your job to come up with the coin for all of these advancements and then contact the appropriate IMM, right? Gameplay is not where you get it done.

It would be pretty cool to have a set of north themed tanso steel. All red and dark gray, with tundra wolf fur. Sexy!

There should be a massive overview of the entire shop system from kingdom to kingdom. Each kingdom should have the basic vials/scrolls, some weaponry, etc. What would make you travel to a specific kingdom for something special should be a unique item/pet/weapon/armor that you can only purchase there. For example, the stat mod jewelry in the Empire, or the unique caster pets in Ayamao. It should be the responsibility of each KD to provide his or her kingdom a fair chance to compete with the other kingdoms while keeping in mind the fact that their shops shouldn't directly and gravely harm the economies of the other kingdoms.

Arelgama. If there is a thread devoted to nerfing my Kingdom I really dont feel as if I should have to pay a copper to compensate for what was taken away. I'm perfectly happy writing armor descriptions, shop descs, shopkeepers descs if it gets to that point.

What i'm curious is, what will attract people most to coming to the North? That way I wont waste my time working on something to discover it was a waste of time.

What I would really like up north, and I've talked about this on and off again for years, is some kind of nordic/viking village or community. If I could ever be an imm, just for a short period. I would want it to be up north. But ofcourse that's not me asking. I doubt I have the time to live up to imm obligations these days with work. And if no one has asked by now they won't.

I'm just saying the north could be a really fun place to make this happen. Myabe that's just 'cause I'm Canadian.

That's probably what Camp DESTROYER was supposed to be.

Join a few friends together and make some viking type characters that fit into the sk themse.
With RP provided, get an area done. With the openheartedness of the imm's these days, I bet that would be accepted.
