It's not that long ago that you used to pull that, you know.

And if Corneilius runs into fights practically naked, then that's his problem and has nothing at all to do with this: Maybe if enchanting wasn't such a huge time waste he wouldn't jump into fights naked.

You're talking about making it easier for people to go out die, get enchanted, die, get enchanted. Which is completely not what the mud needs.

No, I'm talking about BEING ABLE TO TARGET YOUR ENCHANTS. But hey, you seem to be pretty keen on spam killing noobs, so what's your problem with making it easier for people to spam-die anyway? What the mud "needs", among other things, is players who, while good, are also willing to stop spam-killing players when they've clearly beat them.

Wrong, Edoras, you really are an idiot.

What the Mud needs is players who can learn when to stop when they've clearly been beat. It'd be different if I'm going out looking for these people, but they die, come look for me, die, come look for me, die, come look for me, die.

I don't have a problem with it(and I've done it myself), but don't try to put it on the winner for "spam-killing" people.

Nobody in the mud will EVER admit that they've lost. You just get "zomg I'll get you eventually!" or "zomg I HAVE the FRIENDSSSSS!!!!"

You don't need to be able to "target" your enchants. Oh my [REDACTED] god. If you need willpower? GET A [REDACTED] RING/ETC THAT STARTS WITH WILLPOWER AND ADD A FEW ENCHANTS TO IT.

And people said I QQ a lot? What is this, your THIRD thread about the same crap?

The classes/races that benefit from this change are not ones in need of help. Until you can understand this basic principle about PVP in Shattered Kingdoms, stop writing.

For all your BS there is a surprisingly lack of ANY examples.

Thanks.

I will believe whoever gets the most frustrated with people opposing their views and uses the most capital letters, censored words and personal attacks.

Require some brains? Okay, if I'm a warrior of some sort, I want protection on all my armor, and maybe a bit of will or fort. Then all will/fort on my jewelry.

HOLY [REDACTED] I AM A [REDACTED] GENIUS!

I was going to make a personal attack but I couldn't think of anything mean to say. :(

What example do you need? It disproportionately benefits giants to be able to target their enchantments. Giants need more willpower than any other class, and it is often trouble for them to get enough. With this change, getting willpower will be easier. It disproportionately benefits non-casters to have enchanting made easier. What examples do you need beyond these...or do these not count as examples?

Do you understand the concept that although you see this change as 'benefiting everyone' it actually benefits certain classes/races more than other classes/races?

Yes, I completely understand this, Gilgon. That's why earlier I said

Granted, non-enchanters are boosted more by this, but that's it.
I do, however, think that this change is worth the slight imbalance between sorcs/priests and the rest of the mud: Just look at the amount of sorcs/priests vs. the proportion of other classes to see what I mean.

If a giant wants to max his WIS and enchant willpower, then that means that he's going to have to sacrifice enchantments and stat points from other places: There are also more downsides to being a giant than just having a lowered will save: lower dex, weakness to psychic and lightning attacks, and having to wear giant-sized armor and weapons, for example. Yes, getting willpower will be easier, but giants will still have to get -more- willpower than other races out of the box, and in doing so they'll more than likely have to sacrifice fort, reflex or MP to do so, opening up other weaknesses for them.

I personally think that the downsides to playing a giant aren't, and should never be based on the fact that giants have to sit around having their stuff enchanted longer.
