I have played more griffons han any other race in the game, I am against having them a gray or dark. Its not like you can not have a lighty griffon in marfik's religion, with inent to do whatever they want... griffons are pillars of light, brought to slavery, hated by an entire religion, and protectors of a lighty kingdom.


However I propose that with the proper rp griffons should be alloud to start in one of the tribes near orwyan.

Since griffons are unselfish by nature, I'd rather have aberrant griffons than gray-aura ones. Not that that's a request.

IMO, you lose a lot of the fun of griffon roleplay if they're just monsters. Alignment plays a role in keeping them interesting

Adroan - People who know about IC griffon locations can give them matching backgrounds. They just have to start out in a compatible newbie area. Griffons running around Kytar would just be silly.

Griffons can only be lightie, in every RPG that I know (not to mention that in the vast majority of them griffons are not even sentient, but whatever).

I would rather see another class in the dark/gray side that would be similar to griffons, and since Dragons are sentient to all RPG games, I would really like to see Wyrmlings. Inate flight, claws, same restrictions as griffons and similar stats and toughness due to scale hide.

And since Griffons are supposed to balance Necromancers in the game, make Psionics for lighties and graybies.

I can think of no less than three options which I would enjoy more. Indeed, I don't even consider this an option. I'd rather see a new class before a new race.

I would rather see more areas built. We barely have the pbase now to fill the classes and races we got. There needs to be a choice made. Either SK needs to gear up towards getting new players with new areas, rp events, revamp the code to more popular choices, etc etc or the mud needs to make the choice to be the cherished playground of a select few, while everyone else has left.


That is really the only choice that needs to be made, before you can begin to think about other avenues of IMM time being spent. Many throw out ideas without thinking about time constricts, workload versus ability, and personal issues and cohesion. Does anyone on the Imm staff have any management or HR experience?
