Level-based just like griffons and poison/plague used to be (equal to or lesser level fear leaves the paladin unaffected).

Why isn't this already implemented, and why are paladins, a class whose very code demands that they not flee from the face of evil, able to be sent running like a schoolgirl from every necromancer in addition to every rogue/sorc/priest with a fear scroll?

This one's easy people.

As for paladin, show me a paladin or hellion that strictly follows their respective Code and I will personally write this post down on paper, ball it up and eat it.

Indeed.

Fear = magic. Think of it as manipulating your mental consciousness and forcing you to abandon your code and run like the sissy that you are.

No.

This brings up a question, though...

If you were charmed, are you still chaste? 8)

Absolutely Not. Paladins Already Rape Necromancers As It Is.

No. But if any one were to do that to do, I believe that would be a cursable offense.

Paladins are mortal, they are not immune to being scared of things.
