 Post subject: [Idea] Warlock Suggestion.

A warlock should be able to fireball his own air elemental to create an inferno with the destructive power of a category 5 hurricane. Upon coming in contact with the elemental air super rich in magical oxygen and other such flamable elements that make air elementals awesome, a fireball should immediately consume all the incredibly combustable magical elements from the elemental, killing the elemental instantly. The resulting explosion from the super infused fireball would be akin to Vegeta going super saiyan 12,000,000. Every NPC/PC within 9 rooms every direction of the fireball/air elemental explosion should be killed instantly, and all buildings should be leveled. The resulting shockwave would further cause earthquake and aftermath damage an additional 21 rooms in every direction after the initial 9, causing all players and NPCs to be hit with a consecutive chain of 10 earthquakes.

Also, anyone who walks through any of the affected rooms within a week after the explosion should get lung cancer from all the toxic ash still in the air, and have their characters maximum life expectancy reduced by 85% of their remaining years.

Good idea, don't you guys think? Comments? Suggestions?

... Seems reasonable. After all the warlock won't be able to summon another elemental for a while, so it is definately balanced.

I think its brilliant and should be implemented immediately. This is the buff warlocks need!

Great idea I think, except remember fireball only has a range of 2, so the warlock would get caught and die as well. Hence we should expand fireball to a range of at least 10, just to make it fair. Warlocks should also be able to control the water in people's bodies, freezing it instantly or just allowing it rupture, exploding and insta-killing any target that has blood.

You're right, I should have clarified. Resist elements gives the warlock total immunity to this explosion. Actually, with so many elemental forces at play, I think with resist elements up this combination should actually restore the warlock to full health, increase the damage of all his elemental spells for the next year, and ressurect any dead party members of the warlocks group.

OR summon elemental

Summons back an already "conjured" elemental that is accidentally left behind.. such as when a warlock is forced to flee/recall. This way, there is no waiting for however many minutes until a new one can be "conjured".

New spell: Earth Maw.

Effect: The warlock causes an entire city to be swallowed, destroying every NPC, PC, and item inside. 50% chance of deleting pfiles upon death.

This spell has a half-round concentration time, and should cost no more than about 2% ME. It should be able to be cast from anywhere in the game, targeted at a starting city.

Better idea!

Give Conjure Elemental a concentration cost roughly equal to animate dead, then put no limit aside from concentration on how many elementals a warlock can summon!
