I expect my staff to have lives too. Once every 4 is perfectly reasonable. I will not be playing for any significant sum of time on any weekend - motherhood doesn't come with days off.

I like that idea...how about we go a bit further, 1 full week every 4 weeks. That would give everyone the chance to benefit from it.

This.

That.

There.

1 full week every 3!

52/3 = 17.333333333
52/4 = 13

Much easier math to track. Not to mention, 13 would be easier to coordinate the parties involved rather than 17.

Neither does my profession, that's why I made the suggestion that I did, it gives everyone a chance to get the bonus.

I've actually held a week long bonanza. Remember? I might be interested in doing it again, but not soon. I would like to have more action during the week. We are certain to make that a goal.

I thought there was something called maternal leave. :p

Less planned rps, more sponatnious rps without warning. As it is now, the numbers jump whenever there is a bonanza, which is good. But I think random 'adventures' with no bonus xp would make more people log in during the weekdays on the off chance they would get to go on such an 'adventure'. Where is the weary adventurer who needs help saving some wench from a dragons lair and shows up in the inn to get some warriors? We need random [REDACTED] like this happening from time to time to get people interested in the game when there isn't a bonanza and bonus xp. I see craploads of people log on and right back off all the time.

Just a thought.

I've never understood why bonus XP is turned off during events. Like my level 20 character who doesn't know anyone really has a reason to stop training and go watch them. Seriously. Half the time it's aura-based too, and unless the opposing side intends to show up and mess with people, it's thumbs up the rear time for them too.

How about a month long of bonus xp? Say the month of December since there are a ton of holidays in that one (Winter Solstice, Chanukah/Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Las Posadas, and Hopi Soyaluna for starters. A complete list of odd December holidays and observances can be found here: http://www.brownielocks.com/december.html. That reminds me, I need to get working on all my lists and stuff for that month, not too much time left.

Weekends often work better, but that doesn't mean I won't be open for a weekday bonanza. :) In fact, that might be nice to come home after work and level.

I work more on weekends, so I promote weekday bonanzas.
