Now, I haven't played in a couple years so maybe this is a new code feature. How is that a creature that does not have innate fly, and -isn't- flying can track you over the deep ocean, and over several mountain ranges, when you are spamming a single direction with speed dart? It is a little ridiculous when you are darting over [REDACTED] that is impassable to things that aren't flying and they are coming in hitting/bashing you before you can move again.

I won't speak on the feature/bug itself but I won't take pity on a man named Tor.

Feature, not bug. NPCs track differently than players do.

I just think of the ones that do that as always being on your heels.

Let me rephrase.

Bug, named as feature. NPCs track differently than players do.

not all NPCs can go over hills and all. I had a guard chase me once from a training ground and I went up into the mountains and after a few seconds i heard his deathcry from repeatedly falling to his death.

There is a rift between two locations, A and B.
If you fight a tracking NPC at location A and you teleport to location B, the NPC will enter the rift to hunt you down.

Unless the machines are taking over, the NPC can see your final destination and not actually tracking you.

Cheers.-
