It's not southwest though, it's west. I'd say more by it would give too much IC info out on the quest, I think.

It's not a typo, it just doesn't spoon feed you an exact location. You don't get points taken off if you ask someone for help, people. You get a general idea, you look for your item. If you can't find it, ask someone for help. Even if you don't know anyone around, I bet you could go to the Inn and ask someone for help.

The cabbage is actually northwest of Exile, more than anything else...

And, yes, you could ask someone for help. Which I did, both IC and OOC, with no positive results. How did I find it? I bought a friggin horse and went space league-by-league from the mountain range north.
