I really don't see how this makes it any better or worse than what is happening right now.

Next idea I'll see is manually inputting your second, third and fourth attacks.

I hate to break it to you too, but Delear was sub-par when it came to PvP. I also never heard him [REDACTED] about the way attacks were handled when haste gave double attacks or when double rounds could give a PC or npc up to 16 attacks in the first round.

What this *is* going to do if implemented is further put a wedge between the quality of spellcasters and melee characters which was balanced up until stupid ideas like fatigue were introduced.

PvP doesn't even need slowed down. And I fail to see how this is going to slow it down in any case, will also draw a further wedge between new players and vets (who will get absolutely ravaged in PvP because they just stood there not knowing what to do to begin with, and make me even question why the group system is in game in the first place.

Auto assist means that your character is recognising that he is part of a group and needs to assist them in fighting.

I also have no clue, and don't want to know what this idea would do to the PvE environment. Especially if I have to step away from the computer while leveling in a group or make it completely unplayable as another group member who is outputting too much damage steals all of the xps.

I will suggest that if you find this style of gameplay rewarding and fun to please shift yourself over to Everwar.

Winner winner, chicken dinner!

Also as Ardith said, I don't understand how Delear can be shifted in to the "great PKers" column considering his most noteable PK character was a necromancer? I mean really, how much skill is involved in running around with 6 giant barb NPCs with hunting spears and watching someone drop? Yeaaah.

Even if he was one of the "great PKers" it wouldn't automatically make him right, nor his arguments set in stone.

Ardith is right.

Only because he agreed with me on every point.

Delear's brought an excellent idea to the table (to be expected, from a player of his caliber), and I think all his points are extremely valid.

pffftaahahahaha

I find it wholly silly that you can have something as important as PK left entirely to initiation and group size. This would keep people on their toes and demand some semblance of attention to detail.

It isn't. It's left entirely to the amount of enchanting down and binding your opening PK skill on your chosen target to 1 and spamming it every room. And heal pots. Don't forget heal pots.

That would take a mild concussion and strong meds.

Easy to become a -great- PKer.

Respect your enemy.
Do not PK someone just because you can.
Warn your enemy beforehand, give him time to prepare.
Do not abuse the 'one hundred bugs'
Do not kill the same enemy more than once, unless...
Do not try to just -win- but win with style.
Do not quit or hide after a successful PK.

Those rules take more self discipline than it seems. All I can say is that I've tried.

If you re-read my list, you'll notice a very flexible "unless..."
