damage hasn't (or it has only barely in relation to maximum mana trains, which had only sub-50 damage impact)

LOL . . . I leave for a bit, and find that the same people who are complaining about it, defended it when they employed the same tactics. Unless you are a newb or already been damaged due to combat, voodoo doesn't kill w/o a doll.

The only people who are going to avoid the voodoo from a shaman built for voodoo are those who keep sanc up 24/7, deep-elf/elf/halfling/sprite higher end hp classes (swash/merc/paladin level) and barbarians.

I took down full hp trained gm centaur barbs to 10% hp in extensive testing (ungreeted) when I played my shaman, and there are more +mana items available today then when I played. I could kill anything else without protection/sanc besides barbs and deepelf/elf/halfling/sprites of merc/swash/paladin who had trained hp.

Voodoo is stupid overpowered. Before and after I played a shaman, though, I advocated for them to be wimped. Ardith has also consistently advocated for it to be wimped. Dumb to argue otherwise imo.

who is a pker

algon or muktar

can we get a show of hands

Algon, feel free to make a shaman and demonstrate just how overpowered voodoo is. It would be preferable if you made this shaman a lightie.

You should have seen voodoo before I made Blergan, haha.

He's been there and done that.

Because no one worth much has built a voodoo cannon. All it would take is some veteran to build a voodoo cannon and people would be QQ on the forums.

If it's still stupidly overpowered then he should do it again! ^___^

Last time I did play, Algon did briefly had a shaman. Died once to it, that is after I was under 50% health in the middle of combat. So, if algon could not kill me easily it really isn't that overpowered.

rofl. Just because you die once to a shaman when you are under 50% does not mean that it is difficult for that shaman to kill you. If my deep-elf necro dies to a backstab when I am at 10% hp it doesn't mean that backstab is weak.
