I think most people lump the moot in with Moraksdal, since you have to go through Moraksdal to get to the "inn" town. Trying to understand both zones together... thats where the problem lies. I'd be lost without my mapper ^^;

Location: Not in the south anymore. Woohoo.
For clarification, Moraksdal surrounds the Keep. The Keep houses the Moot. The 'inn' in the north is in the Keep, which everyone refers to as the Moot, but it isn't.

I rolled a scout alt. It was a fun area to play around in. Only found the one "quest" but none of the others, but then again, I wasnt looking too hard for them.

There are four.

How did all of you like the "story line" part once you enter the portal? I felt like there needed to be an explanation for you being there. The slave items are exactly like an item found in Taslamar's newb area. Most newb areas give away free armor of some type, I feel however that you have to fight for this armor and is not "free". Because the area was explored frequently yesterday and today, the armor was easier to get than it may be once volume slows. The NPCs are actually a little higher level than some other areas and the coin reflects that. I intend to work on making the Wastes a more "friendly" place to start, so my next project will help move that right along.

That was my favorite part - that's what made it feel so much more unique than other leveling areas. I actually liked it so much I've turned my test char into a new alt, with that storyline from creation added in.

I only found three quests :(

Looking forward to the Wastes becoming more friendly place to start. I literally had to ask a PC for help getting out today after being lost for like 30 min. Scared to recall...

I really liked the story line and how it varies from class to class (as far as I could tell). Great job on making a super-friendly area! I can't wait to see the rest of the North after you're done with it. I just really like how you come out ready for the world. I don't think any other place does that as well.

And I only found three quests as well... sad day.

I got three different for three different chars: a hellion, a barb, and a necro.

You do end up in the same place, but it changes how exactly you get there.

Im thinking its more for alignment if it does. Seems to be a bit different for my diabolic and anarchist.
