Is anyone else seeing a pattern here?

First it was necros, then bards, now it's warlocks. Seriously, kin, learn to play the classs you're playing and stop bothering us with these ridiculous threads.

This is false. Yes, I had a Necro, but I didn't ask for buffs on said necro. I was actually advocating that they be changed and nerfed, not buffed. Necros are in no way underpowered, nor have I ever stated they are. What I did state was that control undead vs animate dead is underpowered and animates need to be toned down and control undead slightly buffed to equalize them out. Furthermore I stated multiple times that I agreed with limiting undead to that of a group instead of the crazy amount that a Delf can hold (25ish while sleeping and 46+ if you have 25 wis and a miran to help you out.) My necro is no more.

Yes, I have a bard. Yes, bards are OP in group battle. Songs of sleep and silence are too powerful. What I proposed was again they be changed slightly. Songs of sleep need to be able to be resisted, songs of silence were fine and SO many other songs were so situational / useless that you'd have to have a death wish using them.

Finally, yes I have a lock on the side. I've not played him much because as baldric stated above, a non druid, no trib locks aren't playable. Seriously, how can you state that they're playable in their current state? Now don't I remember somewhere it being stated that a character is complete at master, without having to join a tribunal or cabal? A warlock can be negated in SO many ways it's not even funny. Dispel is just ONE of those ways, albeit the major factor.

As it stands now, an elemental's resistance to dispel isn't compared to the warlock's willpower or such. They're far too easy to dispel, period. And why is it almost every caster class can have a dominate / charm / control / animate and a pet yet locks can't have an elemental and a pet? And again explain to me WHY elementals don't even last as long as a wraith does? (28-30 mins or 1 IC day vs 45 mins on a wraith. I've timed em.)

Tell you what. Go play a lock. Go level it, and go into PK and kill some people who aren't newbies. Oh, and do this without joining a tribunal or cabal, THEN come back and tell me they're fine. Otherwise, if you've nothing constructive to add, don't say anything at all and move along.

Warlock is a horrible, completely useless class.

Aside from recharging my cone of cold wand. Thanks Valrius.

Kin has a point. And don't nag at him for playing a class long enough he can Identify its faults. And from past comments, other people agree it needs to be buffed. Ive played every class in the game and may have well got them all to at least champ. The Warlock for one is that class that is great for support, but I would suggest their resist Element spell be buffed so that they resist all the spells -They- cast, rather then not.

Warlocks are fine, and they don't deserve store bought pets unless Elementals come with a concentration cost.

Chemhound is right in my opinion.

I've realized there's no point in arguing about game-balance on these forums. It's all good, though. Don't buff warlocks. I just won't play them unless they're built for druids, and will continue to rape any non-druid warlock I want to whenever I want to in pvp.

Maybe the problem is that they are actually meant to be a purely support class, and I'm not realizing this. They -are- a decent support class.

Do I have to? I am familiar with game mechanics. And yeah, tribunal warlocks are effective when in their home kingdom.
