Why does this even exist? Does anyone even use it? It seems pretty idiotic to me.

Only way for a non-giant barb to hit third row. Actually pretty useful in some cases.

Barb with a sling makes no sense and hurts a lot.

Sling is dumb. Getting ammunition for it is a pain in the [REDACTED] because it is coded to disappear when used. It also weighs more than crossbow bolts or arrows, and just isn't worth it. Changing the coding so that the ammunition doesn't crumble would go a long way to making this skill useful.

Siegecraft, on the other hand, *is* useless.

Siegecraft is actually useful if you're logged on solo, and a group of massive [REDACTED] comes to your HQ. It's amazing how many people will sit there while you kill their priest/caster with the worst skill in the game.

Aside from that exact scenario, it's useless.

bow/crossbow work better and you can be mobile while using them, unlike with siegecraft.

Furthermore with the recent reduction in guardian hps there is just no time for a character to drop down and utilise siegecraft.

Sling, on the other hand, just needs a little tweak to make the skill useful and not a pain in the [REDACTED]. This is why nobody tends to use it. The last time I saw a sling gank was about 4 years ago. I haven't seen it since.

What's more dumb is that skills like sling and crossbow are given to sorcerers. It's better that they don't have a skill than to give them ones that are completely useless and don't make any sense.

Why does every class (I think?) get sling? I've NEVER seen anyone use sling. The only priest I've seen use crossbow is Hanathena, with the Zavijahan sacred weapon. I've seen tribunals use siegecraft, but not cabals.

I think siegecraft could have more purpose in cabal wars, but sling and crossbow going to every class seems idiotic.
