The Favorite Quotes thread got derailed. Here's a thread for feedback on the Dreamscape and potential issues you've discovered. I'm going to work toward learning about the Dreamscape as much as possible IC and see if we can't get some people out there now and again to figure some things out. We'll see how we can help the IMMs develop this further and enjoy it in the process.

In response to what folks were saying about corpses and The Dreamscape.

I thought that the whole idea was that Mira and Algorab's fighting over the thing dragged it closer to our realm.. and that's why we were able to wander into it and still have our things and be lucid rather than just another dreamer. That would also explain why we can buy pets there and bring them out... not to mention the spoons and such that might follow you out if your running away.

In hindsight.. there WAS that whole sacrifice deal and even though I was there I'm still not entirely certain just what in the hell happened.

Yeah...could I get the story on that? I played Xonin when that went down, and we, the group Xonin was in, killed it, having no clue what happened.

Huh?

I remember when the Iron Citadel opened the first time. I remember when it was reopened after some major tweaking. People complained a lot back then too. In the end, if you are unwilling to risk your gear, you are not going to get anything out of it. It just looks to me like you've been spoiled with areas you know everything about.

The Dreamscape is infinitely more complex in terms of scripting. Yes, there might be bugs we've not caught. It doesn't have to do with how often we test things, sometimes they just pop up or something that was working before breaks all of a sudden. We've also added a lot of chance scripts, this means that you cannot use existing knowledge for all of it.

Both Algorab and I are carefully reviewing your feedback. There is a good chance we'll tweak a few things based on constructive criticism. Thus far there hasn't been too much of that.

Honestly? I liked the beta test with the nice, benign areas you could explore and quest in. Now that I've heard you can't get OUT of the dreamscape like we could in the test, I have zero desire to try it out. Zero.

All this "random spooning" turns me off.

Actually. I need to reword that. . .

Just tell me there's interesting solo things, and I'm so there. Right now I'm hearing that its a heroic 10-man.

With a minimum GS of 5.8k GS, must know all bosses and fights. Need 2 tanks 2 dps 4 healers

there is a way to get out, but it isn't a gtfo way out, sort of like a quest to get out if ya ask me.

EDIT: I'll put it this way, on Xonin, I found it much easier to get out by dieing then to leave alive. I think we got out alive only once.
