A new skill for sorcs to copy scrolls. There is a scroll that has create spring and create food on it that you can buy. I thought why can't a sorc copy that scroll onto another scroll?

You'd have to be holding a blank parchment and the scroll you wanted to copy, then, type copy and go. same as scribe on chance of failure. the chance of failing a copy for the above scroll would be higher than copying a scroll with one spell.

yes no?

You realize there are scrolls with three castings of FoD and Harm on them, right?

I would burn through 5-10+ good scrolls to make copies of a triple harm scroll, and then be able to pop 3-6-9 harms on somebody in the span of a couple rounds.

I like to think of scrolls as more than just words scribbled onto parchment. It takes the knowledge of how to utilize certain energies and forces in the world, and that's why it wouldn't make sense, to me, for a sorcerer who wields arcane magic to be able to scribe something that requires the elemental energy of a warlock.

Didn't actually think of that. Good point.

ROFL at how this would affect gameplay. Screw strong triple harm. I want powerful triple harm. Actually, I want four of them.

lulz

Sorcs are already so massively OP, I can't imagine how someone could think this was a good idea. Sorry.

I agree, sorcerors are tough enough. There's no reason to give them added advantages.

Technically baldric doesn't play anymore and should, in theory, be regarded as an outdated source of information.
