I just want some more rp commands and abilities put in the game. Stupid [REDACTED] too which would enhance the atmosphere of the game. A few examples from the Armageddon mud that don't really need to be straight jacked from there and put in here.

The ability to sit at a table and speak to only those at the table.
The ability to listen to a table.
Larger penalties from mental telepathy.
Ability to target objects with emotes and says.
Ability to combine says and emotes.
An apartment system with rooms that save furniture and treasure.
The ability to guard someone that is asleep or stunned.
The ability to apprehend someone with a law NPC without pk.

These don't need ripped and put in the game, but things like these can really enhance ones atmosphere. SK should have it's own set of neat and original things that can be done for rp other than emote/pemote/socials/says/tells. Especially considering how much the battle system has been tweaked and custom coded. The same amount of originality could be implemented into the role play system of SK. Then the SK slogan of "Where role play and tactics collide." could ring even more true.

I agree to all!

I've seen this be true when IMM's want it to happen.

We did have something similar to this at one point. We used to be able to buy houses, and store crap in them. The problem? People hoarded. A lot. So all those keys you can buy in Nerina, or Everclear ended up working like inn keys, disappearing after log out. It's unfortunate that we lost it, 'cause it was pretty damn cool to own your own house....

If it was just furniture it wouldn't be abusable.

True, but I can't say one way or the other whether the game, as it's currently coded, could tell the difference between furniture and other objects, unless they gave it the same flag as a PC corpse.

Either way, I don't know how possible it is. I'd love to see purchasable apartments again, though. I don't see why we can't do so, considering we have a reboot every three or four days, anyway. We could also give items not held by a PC the old crumble effect, to keep away from the hoarders.

Great Idea, still able to own Building in SK as long as you pay a huge amount for it. like 20 obsidian, and you have the ability to pester IMMs to Script Items, like a chair, or even a trophy to help remember an experience like Ralina's head mounted on a plaque, or something. All items would be saved and once a character who owned the house was dead, it all got reset.

I'd rather have system memory spent on more Tlaxcala quest rewards before it is ever squandered on your dollhouse trophy room, good sir.

Actually, while I played Eyrios, you could have an IMM redesign a house in Everclear, as a Peacekeeper, based upon your description. You wouldn't be able to lock items to the room, or anything like that, but you were free to write them in the description. I don't remember if you had to pay for it, but y'know.

Anyway, I'd just like to be able to purchase keys for houses in Everclear and Nerina and actually keep the damn house. I wouldn't care if the loot was lost, or the furniture, so long as I could roll a character and have a place to bring people that was actually *my* home. It was possible before, and I understand why they took it away, but with the frequency of reboots, I don't see why they can't bring it back. It's not like it'd be all that useful for hoarding anymore...
