It still makes no sense that you would make trip/bash/dirt/kick cost so much PE at lower lvls. You are asking people not to make new chars and move on this way. You didn't even more endurance to lower lvls.

This changes that have been made so far are all geared toward making them game harder and less enjoyable at lower lvls.

I don't see a point to them.

As far as balanced goes. The game was balanced years ago b4 all these changes. No one race/class had a advantage. Then the changes took affect and you have to be a caster.

It just seems the PE depend classes are getting a short end of the stick.

At lower levels, I don't use PE moves. I just do the normal attack. I'm vet 3 in 16 hours with good amount of RP in, and I can only think of a few times I ever used anything that cost extra PE. Stop bashing/tripping/whatever else you're doing and hit stuff.

Meh, I'm kinda sorta with bs101 on this. I mean yes you CAN get by without and hell it's probably even faster NOT to use them and not dump the PE. And even with their set costs making them more and more managable as you gain levels, I still like using them and I usually master dirt kick at least before veteran. Not learning them is something akin to being a priest and not knowing anything but flamestrike and spear of faith. What the hell is that?!

Oh, sorry. I'm laughing at the notion that there is too much RP going on in SK.

The right way to level a priest.

The only class I train PE for is scouts, and that's so I can stay in stance aggressive with a shortbow and rapid shot, since the combination drains PE like Liquid Plumber. It also helps for hunting down all the good herbs and filling your sacks. That's about the only class I could see putting PE into. Possibly bards too, but I've never played a bard.

As for the original post, yeah, the low levels are light years faster to level than they used to be. Don't even bother with dirt kicking/tripping/bashing until Veteran as a melee class. It's not going to skew fights enough to warrant exhausting yourself to master it.
