Again, an MR barb could be wicked killer, but not by himself. He'd need a team that included a dedicated enchanter. My natural tendency here is to go further into detail, but I just can't bring myself to do it in case I ever get the chance and desire to pull it off.

The only MR barb that would need an enchanter is a partial MR barb who relied on MR items to give that "extra" edge or one who wanted to spell up obscenely defensive armor so that healing was no longer an issue.

Edoras' point, which you almost got but not quite, is that any MR barb who didn't do what he is thinking of (it's not that tough to figure out what he's thinking, hint: think about what enchants you would not need if you had MR, and think carefully about what pieces you put the MR on) would get trashed by other melee characters.

I think they'd get trashed by other well enchanted, well played melee characters anyways, buffs are huge.

It'd be nice (and easy probably) if you could release more than one spells but not all with one command. For instance

release
oOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOo

then release 1,2,5 (or release 1 2 5) would end detect aura detect magic and mirror image without having to type release over and over.

Lower the amount of time it takes for NPCs to spawn in leveling areas. i.e. Bakemano caves, roaring lion, salvarian caves

No amount of enchanting is going to make an MR barbarian any better. Even with 200% MR, absorbing a heal spell will at best cure 12% damage. That's not nearly enough to stay competitive. Not to mention losing the ability to use giant strength and haste, any tribunal buffs, or whatever else is a huge detriment to playing the class.

The only phrase I can use to describe an MR barbarian is pain in the [REDACTED]. It's one of the few concepts that can bring trips to places such as the outer planes to a screeching halt while being alive.

I guess the good side of it is that your barbarian will be immune to faerie fire, which is a sekrat rape spell. But outside of that small bonus, there's no bonus to relying on magical resistance.
