I agree with Sakhul and Dulrik on this one.

I disagree that they've been brought up to par. So mixed damage weapons do less damage because of stone skin now. I still don't see how this makes the class able to threaten anything at all.

Most NPCs in the game are immune or resistant to fire. This makes warlocks useless for damage in the high level areas of the game, since their best punch is a fire based spell.

I wouldn't want to see anything added to warlocks to be honest. People have been begging like dogs for years for the ability to have warlocks get an elemental and a store bought pet. They finally have that. That's plenty. That's a big acheivement in my eyes because some store bought pets are outrageously powerful.

I think the reason people are saying warlocks are now up to par has more to do with their newfound ability to have an elemental AND a store bought pet and less to do with the slight stoneskin tweak.

I agree with the camp that says, "let's see how these changes sift out first."

I think one thing that should be added that is not a gamebreaker for them to achieve OP status would simply be to display
Code:
Your elemental flickers slightly.
when sleeping. Adding pets DID significantly help the class. Elementals are perfect the way they are and don't really need to be held. Just that message when sleeping and I would be a happy camper with a lock.

Lore: Warlocks by sheer destiny alone have a supernatural bond with the elements to wield great power. They bear the ability to summon and form a bond with the most powerful basic constructs, borne of water, earth, air and fire, the world has ever seen. Their ability to channel a sacred connection with their elementals allows them to constantly detect their presence, even while they rest in slumber.

Edit: Well, to be fair, I'm always a happy camper with a lock ^_^.
