Okay so this thread has gone long enough without me responding. I'm not going to go into details, but I'm going to make two things clear.

1. I fully expected Kura to die with the armor, she doesn't really have the best track record of staying alive (sorry, but it's true).
2. Terms and conditions apply to any loans made by Algorab.

For the rest, everything will be made abundantly clear in the next week or so.

Algorab, you wrote (at least some of) the frikkin' Dreamscape. Surely, you have the talent to have loaded the objects, sold them to a shopkeeper, then stolen them from the shopkeeper and given them to Kura with their decay timer still active.

Or added a decay timer yourself.

Or told her to go get the Algorab Sacred armor, since I thought this kind of thing is what sacred sets were made for.

This is black and white. Dulrik, in over 10 years of running this MUD, has made it that way. There's no debate, there's no question, there's no reason - I don't care how good anyone thinks it is, what kind of terms apply to loans, anything. IMMs are not banks for players to house gear, I don't care what kind of half-assed RP you think validates it.

IMMs don't give items to players when they lose those items to game mechanics, intentional mechanics or not.

Letting a player use a special NPC to summon the grand general and then slay him counts as giving a player eq in my book. I made a fuss then and nobody seemed to give two shits.

I once got sitebanned for doing exactly what happened here. So you can justify it all you want but if two things remained true: 1)Algorab cheated. 2)Kura's RP is so severely compromised because she can't get the gear on her own that she apparently needs for this RP that her character shouldn't receive any favor from Algorab and should probably just be killed for failing so miserably.

EDIT: And a third....Dulrik does not really give a [REDACTED] what happens on his mud anymore, obv.
