After mowing through thirty bounty NPCs, you start running out of PE, and all your enemy has to do is simply run, avoid you, or make you overextend yourself so he can run in and fight for free while you fight 5 bounty NPCs instead of him. And besides, each one of those cabal spells is infinitely more dangerous on the defensive with bounty NPCs than the offensive.

If your opponent runs away and doesn't engage you, then yeah, you can't PK against him. The same is true if your enemy hides in a random wilderness spot. That's not really a bounty NPC issue. If someone is letting you murder all their guards instead of engaging you, they're probably breaking their RP, anyways.

Since when does 'RP' dictate that you have to let someone kill you? I think you've spent too much time around Sakamoto.

And /I/ think you douchebags have spent too much time playing SK as a FPS.

It's a Roleplaying & Playerkilling game. Not a Lootgathering, Circlejerking, Hide unless I Have 5 allies on and have no chance of losing & Playerkilling game.

If a darkie comes to Taslamar looking to fight the peacekeepers, and there's a peacekeeper around, the peacekeeper should engage. Otherwise, the darkie is going to just murder 100 paladin NPCs. It's obviously breaking RP to let 100 paladins die rather than have some balls and fight. The same can be said for the majority of tribunal members.

I'd also consider it horrible RP for an aberrant character (or at least for a hellion) to hide if there is a winnable fight to be had.

I'm sure that I'm not taking part in any circlejerk, that's pretty gross.

But since you think it's a good idea to just throw yourself into a battle you're sure to lose for 'RP' consider this:

Any PvPer worth anything should have a solid collection of pills/potions/wands/staves to use and a well enchanted set of armor. Would it be good RP to:
a.) rem all; drop all; bow darkie - they get everything
b.) die to darkie - they get everything
c.) keep all of that [REDACTED] that may not give you an advantage right now, but might later so that you don't suck even harder when it is time to confront them

If you choose a or b you're stupid.

I really can't believe you think it's good RP to just throw yourself in front of someone to die and lose everything which will only make your character suck even harder and make you less able to fight back. There's something to be said for living to fight another day.

All of that being said, I invite you to give me all of your lewt or to just walk around naked for RP reasons. Also, I hope I never have to share a group with you because I would hate for your silly RP reasons to take over when using your brain is more important.

Hay guise, let's go get killed and [REDACTED] ourselves over even harder!!!! It'l be good 'RP'!!!!

If you have all of that....Why are you [REDACTED] avoiding PvP in the first place?

You don't need to be 'ready' for PVP when you never do any without a group of 3+ PCs. All you're doing in that case is hoarding.

When you are fully prepped, you should be willing to PK.

And depending on your class, you should be capable of going 1 vs 2. If you're a sorc or necro, bump that up to 1 vs 3 (people who know what they're doing) or 1 vs 5-6 (people who are idiots).
