Centaurs should obviously keep kick because of their innate toughness, but all other classes should lose it.

Does anyone think the massive weapon bonus is too good? It's certainly tweakable.

Agreed. The only testing I've done is with an Expert 1 helf merc specced greatsword against a Mentor 1 sprite swashie with a katana waki combo. We only did 5 fights, so hardly conclusive, but this is what happened.

Merc always fought aggressively and aimed high. Both fought to stun.
1st Fight: Swashie was aggressive, aimed high. Merc lost with swashie left at 4%
2nd Fight: Swashie neutral, aimed high. Merc won with 12% left, but we wanted to throw this out altogether, the swashie forgot to check if wimpy was on or not, and fled, then came back.
3rd Fight: Swashie defensive, aimed high. Merc won 24% left.
4th Fight Swashie aggressive aimed LOW. Merc won 4% left.
5th Fight: Swashie aggressive aimed high. Merc lost with swashie left at 4% (seriously, the outcome was the exact same as the first)

For the first fight, I had him bashed constantly, so his wimpy was never triggered.

I want to see GMs go at it, but I just wanted to test what I could.

Fighting to stun isn't going to give good results. First, you cannot sever limbs. Secondly, I would assume any merc/barb that wanted to kill a swashbuckler with a massive weapon would aim mid to cut off one of their arms in a hurry. Once one arm is off, the swashbuckler is nearly always dead. Thirdly, a stun fight can go on for a while, expecially if you keep hitting a body part that has already been reduced to 0 hps, so you might be taking more damage then in PvP. Fourth, your mercenary is rather low level, and isn't getting the full bonuses of his specs. Fifth, I don't like your forum ID.

I am in the process of testing this. Using an enchanted claymore, I seem to think that it is not overpowered. There are one-handed combos that certainly trump the advantages of a two-hander. I think it's balanced.
