You continue to miss the point. I could care less about getting killed or losing all of my stuff. Its just bits of data, there's no experience loss, and gear is replaceable. One day this MUD will shut down and all your epic loot will be gone though you'll probably have deleted long before then.
I'm talking about the complaints I receive from players that the rampant griefing interferes with the RP which is why I and other people play SK. Let's be honest here: The PK system on SK is pretty lacking, to be polite. If I wanted to play solely for killing other players, I'd play WoW or maybe even some other MUD. I play SK because the first time I logged in I was treated to some RP (in Exile) and have continued to experience pretty good RP since.
I joined the Keepers as a newb for RP reasons and stick around for the same. People do still play this game because they think it is an RPE MUD and they have a character they want to try. Not all of them think about which team they want to join and then determine the best way to PK.
Still, the original point of my message is this: Actions have consequences, even if the consequences are pretty weak (you were in jail for how long?). Don't complain because the people who want some peace and quiet finally managed to lock you up in a cell. Especially since it isn't like this was a surprise. You knew what the risks were when you started PKing in the city. You seem to be just fine with inconveniencing or irritating other players for your enjoyment so you look foolish complaining the moment you are inconvenienced or annoyed.
That said, I have been thinking about how both groups of players can get more of what they want.
