4) Is a point in dex/con/wis equivalent in terms of its effect on saving throws as an enchant in reflex/fort/will respectively?

Hmm - this one's interesting to me. I've always weighted stats higher due to their ancillary effects but I'd be curious to hear your thoughts as to whether the saving throw effect is 1:1 or some other ratio.

Similar to your 8, my contribution: release all (higher concentration available) improves brew/scribe/enchant success rate.

My guess is the ability scores work much like their D&D equivalent, adding bonuses or penalties every even number, for example:

10-11 +0
12-13 +1
14-15 +2
16-17 +3
18-19 +4
etc

But that's of course, speculation.

I thought the "leadership in SK" thread was about SK myths.

Pro bards sing songs of magic during enchanting sessions, as confirmed by my (highly unreliable) anecdotal evidence confirms this: on the two separate occasions when I had a bard trio sing songs of magic, I was able to put 10+ enchantments on sets of armor that would normally fade around 6. Sure, I could have just been getting lucky, but... actually, no. I don't get lucky.

My recent questions like this have all been raised on private forums, and I'm not really expecting any answers. :-?

Ive always hear mixed stories about what helps enchanting. Id like to know an answer to that one too.
My one, I actually follow is to do with enchanting aswell.

If you keep your ME over 50% while enchanting, enchants are more likely to stick also.

I think the enchanting system is much too random to make conclusive calls like this. From casting continual light, to avoiding magical resizing before enchanting, I have never seen true statistics that would play toward this. I think its all Dulrik's crazy number generator that makes you feel this way. I know there have been some days I enchant like a pro and other days it just sucks balls. So I say enchanting is a myth. Except for that fact of concentrating on spells while enchanting. I believe having full int potential helps your enchanting efforts then concentrating on ten spells and barely having the concentration to enchant.

I don't understand how songs of magic could help with enchanting. Since having someone enchant at level 50 or using songs of magic to potentially making your enchanting spell level 51 would produce any difference.

So where it originally said something like "Moderate enhancment to fort. Moderate enchancement to reflex." it would change to have reflex first and fort second. I think that shows where the enchantment went. Has anyone else noticed this? It doesn't happen all the time. But I swear I am not crazy. well not about this anyway.

I did notice this actually, I sort of assumed the same but never thought about it enough to test it. I do have a character right now that can enchant however so I might put a bit of thought into it.

As for keeping mana above 50% I have personally noticed that it helps, though again this could be random coincidence, but it only is one reason I do it. The other being somewhat involved in PK usually I never like letting my mana drop too low at any time either.
