Were they on defensive and buffed?

Honestly, if you're not defensive and you're not buffed, then you better be making sure that nobody is hitting you. I'm okay with that.

With haste and fury, Kiromi gets like 6 unarmed attacks a round, with wild fighting, griffon natural weapon damage bonus. If the RNG just happened to have 5 of those 6 hits land on your head, dropping you to 50% HP in one round is not actually unlikely, and is perfectly acceptable.

Defensive stance does not help much against these weapons.

No, it's actually not okay. Considering it's a completely naked character who is putting no effort into anything.

As I said. Griffons need help. Not help that lets them run around completely unprepped aside from a haste spell and do 50% to an adamantite wearing merc.

I am sure that a barbarian with a weapon would do much more damage than Kiromi.

Also with a massive weapon, it would probably only take two shots to one of her arms to sever it and then it is gg for the griffon.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Hey, my merc kit out in full adamantite and a shield got 4-rounded by a guy with a rapier after getting dispelled, are rapiers and dispel magic OP?

Also, anything that Jeckel says I immediately disregard unless there is proof of it. If he were to post the log in question it will probably become apparent that he was doing something completely inane in the midst of it that warranted him losing a lot of HP really quickly: Probably something along the lines of going front-row against a griffon barbarian without any buffs.

Edoras, I'm sorry that Pilnor got raped, and that you are a pretty horrible player in terms of mechanics, PvP and RP. Also, you now spend more time on Chavix than you ever did on Pilnor.

Aren't you supposed to be off living your amazing real life?

My point is that rapiers and dispel magic aren't OP, and neither are griffon strikes.

You brought absolutely no evidence to this thread. Maybe if people's GM giant mercs don't want to get the crap beaten out of them by angry birds they shouldn't constantly be unbuffed and aggressive while wielding two handers.

This thread should be renamed to "How come when I don't take any defensive measures my character dies really fast? Is this a bug?"
