I think massive weapons did bring another option to meelee characters then the normal super fast accurate varieties. Though there are still a crap load of useless weapon subtypes out there that I wish something could be done about.

Maybe if people's GM giant mercs don't want to get the crap beaten out of them by angry birds they shouldn't constantly be unbuffed and aggressive while wielding two handers.

This thread should be renamed to "How come when I don't take any defensive measures my character dies really fast? Is this a bug?"

My character was unbuffed because I had just turned GM, and wasn't in a tribunal or cabal at the time, nor was I at war with Kiromi when she killed him.

That isn't Edoras' point. You getting wrecked is to be expected and you should stop whining about it. Anyone who is unbuffed will get wrecked by anyone that is in almost all situations. There are cases that don't follow that, but those are most likely just horrible luck on the side of the buffed character.

I find your trolling to be the rare refreshing type. Keep up the good work. :P

How about we try to keep our composure in GD and stop calling people names and linking random links.

I like how Syn laughs at griffbarbs when I lose a fight but whines when she loses to me. If it beats Syn, it's overpowered/broken.

Forgive the double post as I only read the first when I posted above.

Quote:
Also, the new mood aggressive is kind of ridiculous on things like a griffon barbarian, which can now do upwards of 45% damage to an adamantite clad merc in one round now. While naked.

1. I was not naked.
2. Lets see the POV of Gohrr, pretty sure it wasn't 45%
3. A few addy pieces mixed with diamond. I didnt notice much for finger/neck/wrist slots.

Quote:
As I said. Griffons need help. Not help that lets them run around completely unprepped aside from a haste spell and do 50% to an adamantite wearing merc.

I had:
1. haste
2. giant strength
3. protection
4. armor
5. prayer
6. sanctuary
7. spirit aura
8. fury
9. stone skin

I deserved that win. It's one of the few I managed on my own. When I play a character I really hate relying on enchantments to be competitive. I don't know the first thing about armor (where to get it, what it does, etc) as everyone who roleplays with me knows. I could fix this by playing a sorc. However, that presents another thing I really dislike - leveling. Regardless of class griffons can level relatively quickly from Amateur to Jman because of their innate abilities. After jman you're pretty much using your class abilities to push you to GM.

I have 2 armor slots, 4 treasure slots, no head protection, no leg protection. I have a SEVERELY limited amount of useful weapons at my disposal and there is ONE decent shield for griffons.

It's time to shut your mouth and get back to being a loser twink. QQ about something else.
