Not as far reaching as I initially thought. Turns out to only affect left-handed characters with reach weapons who aren't in first row. Fixed for next reboot.

Dulrik...pretty sure that whenever I attack things with a 2handed reach weapon now that the mud treats me as though I am bare-handed. You just broke the mud for left handed reach.

Uh yeah... That's what I just explained in the two posts before yours, Gilgon. If you didn't notice though, the fix is already completed and will go in next reboot.

By the way, the new code I just put in was not buggy, but it was building on top of already buggy code. Turns out left-handed characters were never having their weapon speed calculated correctly when using reach weapons and probably have been getting an unfair advantage all this time. That's fixed by this too.

No wonder Qualy was twice the beast that Drakey is.

Ah, I thought 4 attacks a round even with haste on the halberd seemed a bit extreme.

Pilnor was right-handed.

He did get 4 attacks with haste on a halberd, but only with powerful haste and it wasn't guaranteed.

This makes sense now. I am going to guess that Prince Lathron is left-handed as well. I thought that was a consequence of high level fury.
