I'm having the exact same problem with my rogue. Right handed, behind a pet, and there's no backstab. No response about missing or succeeding or anything. After a moment of nothing, my pet initiates. I'd post a log as well, but it looks exactly like the ones already posted, so there's really no point.

This was a side-affect of restricting attacks that can't be made according to the reach rules. Made an exception for backstab and should be fixed now.

Kind of amazing that people even bother leveling rogues this way, considering you lose no xp for fleeing.

shoooot, you may not loose xp fro fleeing, but you gain ALOT for backstabbing......

I thought Rogues did no lose xp from fleeing?
