If stance doesn't affect the amount of HP earned from a resist, it should. Mood defensive obviously earning the barb more HP. This would fix the undeniable truth that MRbarbs are still squishy compared to non-mr melee classes.

The griffon race is pretty dumb.

The problem is clearly griffons, and not AoN. I don't see any logs of human barbs using AoN.

Anything that can run around naked and be 97% as effective as they would be fully equipped is silly.

In fact, you are actually more effective when you don't have to give a crap about dying, because you will do things more cautious people won't.

You're more effective at dying. Sure.

And for someone who has less time to spend doing the full-equip dance, it's a legitimate and fun way to enjoy the game. Leave it.

Except that said person has no reason not to junk other players every chance he gets. It isn't like he needs normal armor.

You can junk people without aura of negation. How is this a strength for it?

I agree this option should be left in principle. It's just that the character should just have less upside potential with zero prep than another character with a lot of prep. Between 100% MR possibility now, some new cabal options, and AoN, a character with no preparation can come pretty close to matching a fully-prepped, decked out character.

It just needs some tweaking downwards. One thing that should be changed is the relative effectiveness of AoN to allow for an easier "saving throw."

Wow. In the world of nonarguments, this is king.

I think that, considering all the things you lose out on for focusing on magic resistance, it's pretty fair that they can just up and at 'em. They will be mostly effective until someone puts in a little prep, though (back row, etc).

Why? The MR changes had close to zero effect on PvE, and was almost entirely aimed towards PvP. How is the impact that this has on other characters not worth considering?

Your argument was "For some people it's a legitimate and fun way to enjoy the game," but that can be applied to anything. If warlocks were given the slay command, people would whine, even though warlocks would find it totally awesome.

Is this the equivalent to giving griffon barbarians the slay command? All players always had a good reason to always full junk/loot you. The only difference is the barbarians will likely be sharing the stuff with other players or junking more of it. Nonargument.
