Should disarm no longer force weapons to drop?
Disarm should not make weapons drop anymore. 56%  56%  [ 18 ]

Why you guys hating on Edoras? He has a good point. The current setup essentially encourages hoarding of already rare, good material subtypes, widening the gap between veterans and newbies. Either allowing for pickup of weapons or automatically sending to inventory would both work. I like the former a bit better because it allows folks to dive for other people's weapons.

True, hoarders gonna hoard, but this encourages non-hoarders to "hoard" weapons also. The weight associated with extra weapons would normally be enough of a deterrent for these folks, especially with the reduced access to lighten load lately. But the way it stands now, the cost of the extra weight is worth it because you get jacked by disarm if you don't have another weapon ready.

I have no dog in this race - just think changing this would be better for the game.
1) Hoarding encouraged
2) Getting screwed in PVE by disarming NPCs
3) I thought there was another reason but I forgot, and there should always be three.

3) NPCs with scripted "get" (e.g., deep-elves in Chy'zyrrm(?), legionnaire captains) can do it anyway.

Just deincentive it, make it so that thieves will get grabby with weapons if they log out with more than 2.

Sounds awful. What happens then to swashbucklers, who usually carry 1-3 backups for different situations?

Okay, for swashies only make it 4. Forgot about swashies. IMO, no one should be carrying then 1 set of backup (1 extra for all but swash which would be 2)

[edit] I can also see mercs with 4 (2 per spec)
