It sounds like a lot of crap, but you should all typo or buglog those quests!

I bug logged the quest for getting access to D'astae because I lost the item necessary to gain access, but I'm not sure if it's a bug. However, can the quest be updated so that they give you a replacement item to gain access? I can understand the reasoning to have some quests have a one off chance of success or failure, but this quest allows access to a whole area as well as subsequent parts that follow. I know there are other ways for someone to get in, but they seem to be more along the lines of "code abuse" rather than legitimate RP for access, mostly because the quest gives no explicit explanation that you only have one shot at completing it (whereas other quests that are like that are very clear). I'm trying really hard to not reveal IC information, but my character has a very long lifespan left and I don't want him to go that whole time without the ability to gain legitimate access and complete the quest chain. Is there an active IMM or KD for that region that would be willing to take a look into this for me?

Also, there are areas that have been closed that have items necessary for quests that still exist.

The dasatae quest item can be purchased. Have a friend with access locate and buy it for you.
