re the requested feedback, I am with the camp who thinks that if only ranged combat is occuring, movement should work. Otherwise, the only point of skirmish is as a sort of defensive scouting activity for 1 enemy, and even then it's bad because if someone with a shield is rolling up on a skirmisher they're not going to die in 2 rounds and are actually going to have an easier time charging at the rooted opponent than they would if the guy had just not skirmished and spam "look".

Cleave got ruirnt. Apparently you can't cleave into combat after it starts, even with auto-assist off, since you're considered fighting.

I assume the same would apply now to <Hammer of Light ability>, so as you decide on cleave can those two be grouped together?

What if one's auto assist is intentionally off to intentionally avoid getting into combat if the rest of the party is outlawed in a country? (Still unknown)

What if one's auto assist is intentionally off as they may be traveling with someone who may be hunted, and you honestly do not wish to be involved (engaged in combat, reported of a crime, so on and so forth?) .. This looks good, Dulrik. Tested.

This code change may put me in a pickle, but may require some testing on my part...

I could go on, but I believe you've got the gist here. I eek a bit at not being able to simply walk out of the room, but we can still flee out. I think the other two things I listed may be a bit more affected.

What I find funny is that scouts finally go 'a' buff to not only have it removed, they got nerfed again.

I think scouts/mercs should be able to move in combat still with pets or friends in combat, to me skirmish is a tactical advantage for someone who's not as good in melee combat or against casters.
