Word of Recall

Why is this spell unaffected by MR?

I'd assume along the lines that if you can recall, you can use word of recall.

Because the target for the spell is self only.

Consumables have always been able to be resisted regardless of the potential targets. Ironguard, death shroud, and detects can all be resisted. WoR is actually an ignore MR spell.

Fair question. What I said before was true, but I didn't realize we were talking about consumables. Word of recall has a special case to not be resist-able, even when using consumables. Still not a bug.
