Dulrik, or any imm for that matter,
Can you please explain in what capacity the game takes over for you when you go linkdead? In the past, I've seen several times the mud makes you cast random spells or flee, but usually when you're IN combat.
Just a few hours ago, I go linkdead while NOT in a fight. There was a fight in the room, however. When I reconnect, I am told I engaged into the fight, and was actively flinging damage spells. I'd much rather the game just sets a wimpy, and not take control of my character and have it fling spells randomly, putting them in spots that he would never choose to be.
Obviously, I was linkdead so I don't have a log. Hopefully someone involved can put up the snippet that shows what the [REDACTED] happened.
[Edit] Another example of SK Linkdead Playing gone wrong was that guy who got booted from the Crucible when it was first starting up, with a rule of "Do not use your skillset publicly". He goes linkdead, and what happened? The character starts using the damn crucible spellset. Poor guy.
