To answer the "should" part of his question, I think enhancements should stack with haste/gs. Enchanting of kits has already taken enough of a nerf with only item slots available to have saves added to them.

And to clarify, spells like haste still add a +5 to the stat maximum, correct? So if I am a human with an unmodified 20 dex, eat a +3 dex haste herb and have +3 in enhancement enchantment to dex, I will have a 23 dex? And if I had a +5 enhancement enchantment, I would have 25 dex. And if I had a +2 innate enchantment to dex, I would have 25 dex?

They add the same modifier to both the stat and the stat peak max.

Yes, because the herb gives a +3 enhancement to both dex and peak dex.

No to both, because in that example you only received a +3 to peak dex.

Oh wow. That's a big change too then. That's not the way it used to work (all gs used to add +5 to peak, regardless of level).

Melee has needed to be toned down for a long time, so I approve of these changes. Maybe people won't fall over dead in two rounds of melee now, if everyone isn't buffed to the gills with giant strength, haste, etc. in EVERY combat.

Agreed. Seeing people being two rounded because they forgot a buff or two was just silly. Now the only thing that needs to be done is the whole art vs enchantments system and Iwin spells.. As it stands, it's pretty rough getting enough enchants to fight even a mild art sorc. I can't imagine what havoc a full art sorc can do with the i win spells.

Well after this bonanza I have a feeling we will soon find out.

I don't troll log sites, so feel free to send me concise logs demonstrating this sorcerer havoc if it does occur.
