I can take responsibility since I had a flag back then. If he didn't make it clear that he wanted in, then he wasn't considered. A lot of IC factors influence this decision, so regardless of whatever criticism you have on the forums is irrelevant. If he wasn't given an answer in the appropriate time, I'd say it's entirely his fault for not making a clear request for consideration.
You can disagree with how I was going about inductions, it's proven just as effective in my experience. The deletion rates are just the same for people who are sought and those who seek themselves. It's been like that since I joined and hasn't changed since regardless of whatever efforts on my end. People like to get geared up, then die, and go inactive. Nothing I can/want to do about that. People are expecting to have everything from RP/PVP and everything in between to be handed to them on a silver platter when joining a faction, sorry, gotta do your own digging.
How should I know when the time-frame starts? When he decides that he's hinted enough? What if he's being so vague that only he can understand himself? Who is to be the judge of that? Really, you people need to play the game more and the forums less.
You can get in the Crucible, just not through Venthekymi.
