Barbs don't need any buffs. MR barbs definitely don't need any buffs. Seriously, what are you thinking, Prince?

Jennbo, bash is not 1000x times better than trip. Trip reaches across ranks. This is a big deal, especially with the increased penalties for flyers.

Trip is more of a finesse skill, evidenced by the fact that rogues, bards, swashies, and mercs get the skill, but barbarians do not. Circular logic for the win.

You guys must be playing with some different MR barbs than I am, because I can dominate NPCs that are scarier than the ones I see.

Well, I think it's cute that you said that...and that you might have even believed it, too. Hellions don't have access to eitherof those two spells, so he'll need someone else to cast it on him, and if that's the case, then the Barb may have similar backup, to include Spirit Aura.
A MR Barb would rip your Hellion in half, and use his entrails as pre-moisterized toilet paper.

Between Magic Resistance, Counterstrike, and Bash; Barbarians are one of the strongest classes in the game, which is as it should be.
If any class needs to be buffed, I'd say it would be Swashbucklers, and perhaps Hellions.

Does SA work on MR barbs? Because if so I'm WAY behind.

And yes, most tanks in a PvP situation will have defensive buffs, either from herbs/vials or another character, unless they just really don't take their opponents seriously at all. An MR barbarian would rip my hellion in half if I tried spamming hellfire on him, just like a giant warlock would rip my hellion in half if I ran at him naked screaming "MOTHERLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND!"

If you are going to do that, you should at least take a taser with you, at least. Then, as you are being manhandled, the giant can be screaming, "Don't taser me, bro!"

I am opposed. Shamans are perfectly fine.. heck, I'd even say they are on the OP side as is. Let them travel by primitive means. Give swashbucklers rift instead.
