I'll just inject that cross-class skills and spells is also never likely to happen, tokens or no.

Well that is a shame, through i can understand it is probably a coding nightmare to add in. At least given the present needs of the coders. Still, it would be an incredible increase in the possibilities of rp available even with small additions available.

What about buying NPC spells? Didn't that one girl get tons of NPC priest spells a year or two back?

Are you talking about Linarium(sp)?

Here is the thing about the loyalty tokens and the classes currently. There are 'some' good options BUT none of them are completely broken (from what we have seen), they just add flavor. Being able to cross skill, turns it from something 'nice' to something that can easily be abused. Would rather see brand new skills/abilities can only be bought with loyalty tokens.

ie Instead of fire elemental, make him an ice type with otherwise same stats.
Bolt of Glory having fire dmg if you are alshain...

I am pretty sure I said it before, but I'll say it again. Loyalty tokens are never going to be used to give you a permanent advantage. The new race/class options are there for replayability, which is something you need eventually if you have been loyal to the game and exhausted the standard choices. While there might be other options for spending in the future, its so far off that there is no point speculating about it. You'll just end up disappointed.

I have it on good authority that alternate-god hellions and paladins is not going to happen. As for alignment changes, it's happened a handful of times in the past but only through roleplay efforts that make changing cabals look like a cake walk. That's also not something that's going to tokens.

I'm not meaning to be a plastic, but I know this is going to sound like it, so sorry in advance.

These mythological cabal and alignment changes ... what kind of in- and out-of-game things were even considerend sufficient for them?

I think I was around for some chick jumping from Druids to Fist, but I never did find out what she did to make that fly.

My mort, Jalma, did this. It was no cake walk. The character built an IC tribe from the ground up (the S'hochi) that had a huge impact on the game, we basically took over the Druid cabal. After the S'hochi passed away, she left the Druids, was independent for a long time, earned a tremendous number of enlightenments, after a long time as an independent, finally worked her way into the Fist and attained Hero status. One of the other S'hochi heroes, by name of Abane, did the same thing, passing instead to the Hammer and also became hero. Jalma was still a Fist at age death. (see HELP JALMA, HELP ABANE)

These cabal-changes also were long before oath breaker was introduced, and when cabal changing was easier to do than it is now.

On the topic of leaving a Cabal, I feel as though there should be a 'retire from cabal' option and also a "dishonorable discharge" kind of option that would result in the oathbreaker flag. Now that Tribunals are getting more important, it might be legit to step down from a cabal position and focus your time on your tribunal... Any thoughts on this?
