So now that Wert's gone with transparency, I'm going to follow his lead.
Hello friends! This is Bux. I've never played Nashira before, but my first immortal, Ain, has only 3 chars in his name, and it's a pain in Dulrik's arse to actually play a char with a 3-letter name.
For those who don't remember me, I last played about 3 1/2 years ago, as a mortal. In fact, Wert's been on the staff more recently than I have, which is saying something, because he's a fossil. I've enjoyed SK off and on since 1998 or so, and it's my pleasure to reacquaint myself with such a venerable and vintage game.
Now, a quick FAQ:
Who are you?
Besides Ain v1 in the early oughts, I've mostly played RP-centric chars with moderate PK ability. My chars have led the Druids and Hammer multiple times and played supporting roles in the MC, Fist and Adepts. I've never played a Harlequin, ever. Strange. 'help buxtehude'
What have you built?
My building resume is shorter than Wert's, but I'm particularly proud of Cain Techt and the myriad changes I made as Ayamao KD and Druid patron. The Realms are richer for my introduction of the banana slug, for example. My building style is long-winded and descriptive, much like Wert's, though less cultured, I'm sure, and less stripey. And fewer gnomes.
Why are you back?
I'm here to entertain and raise the morale of the younger imms who are actually building, administering and running things. I provide dirty limericks, rugby songs and other inspirational materials to the real workhorses, Missy, Sadal and Achernar. Plus, I'm taking over the responsibility of snooping Ardith's chars and broadcasting their whereabouts so the aforementioned useful imms can focus on getting stuff done. Also, Dabi was very persuasive. Bastard.
What're you working on?
I'm helping out by taking over Taslamar KD + Hammer + Keepers -- none of which are very popular, so thanks for making my job easy! -- as well as the Nashira and Yed faiths. I don't have any major building projects planned, but I have spied a bunch of extra space in and around Taslamar, so keep an eye out for future minor building efforts and associated RP events.
Cheers, Bux
