Ya I mean, cancer isn't that serious. The holocaust was just a big misunderstanding. Oh, and Sarah Palin, 2016.

All of these statements hold more validity than an argument one could make in favor of not upgrading the Meissa religious spell.

Meissa and Aludra, both cloth armor lighie religions.

Aludra's spell doubles the HP pool of the target, works on anybody unlike the alshain/sargas spells.

Meissa's spell........?

I disagree with ALL of the above. (including the following clarification upon the above).


I would be interested in seeing the sacred armor stripped of current spell benefits and instead given access to the associated religion spells. I've pushed this a few times in the immstaff, maybe it's time to bring it up for discussion again.

As for the symbol nostalgia, I have that sometimes too. I miss the days when the Dulrik spell used to grant "giant strength". One of them (was it nature?) used to grant the "fly" spell. Ahhhhh, good times, great oldies.

We've gone well off topic, but I will say that Dulrik's explanation about how he intended it to work is awesome. In action, though, it works basically like 1/2 of a novice-level bard song.

Of course, with everyone optimizing their builds for PK instead of going with their choice for RP, experimenting with and submitting logs of just how ineffective it is, change will take approximately forever. I also acknowledge that there are plenty of more pressing issues to put ahead of the Meissan spell as far as coding, a cabal ability being a headliner. So .... Shrug.

Suppose to join religion for the RP not solely for the PK. Game isn't purely about PK and nothing else.

Hey look! I'm over here trying to bring this back on topic.

Assuming that this idea was considered, should something like this be granted to all members of the church? I feel like the gift of this divine spell granted to any believer should be related to the members relationship with their god. I even feel that it fits better as granted to someone for their service. Would it seem fitting to do something like this for favored members? Maybe should the ability be somehow more effective based on their relationship with their god (favored 1,2,and 3)?
