I don't actually want any changes to Ayamao. This is a joke that got taken seriously. I just think that the North shouldn't get a 'main pathway' judge instead of an 'in an office somewhere' judge like all other judges I know of.
Frame your requests and/or complaints in intelligent conversation rather than Veruca Salt/goose that lays golden eggs dialogue. I'm much much more inclined to pull a Willy Wonka than a Henry Salt.
Cubanoh, since you clearly don't understand what I meant, if my children start arguing over a toy, I take it away from both of them. I do not listen to my son's whining that he had it first. I don't care that my daughter says her brother's had it all afternoon and won't share -- NEITHER of them is getting the toy, and that is not the outcome either one of them are going for when they argue. Yes, I notice the discontent. It has my
very brief attention, right before I shut it down. I would prefer not to (a) read through pages of grown adults getting into near-identical pissing matches just to get to pertinent information and (b) indulge demands made in this context. I have better things to do, SK and non-SK related, than sift through this sort of stuff.
Please keep in mind that most of the staff of today has nothing to do with the way things were built. We can fix things, but the "I WANT THIS CHANGE, IT IS INCREDIBLY NECESSARY" commentary seems to follow the tides of the game. People usually only complain when they are on the wrong end of a given imbalance, and they keep their mouths shut when it benefits them. Every balance decision is made with consideration to why these requests are rolling in and why they haven't come before. I'm not at all interested in having an OP north, but I am disinterested in discussions that devolve on the first posting to "BUT MOMMY, WHY CAN'T I HAVE THAT, TOO!? IT'S NOT FAIR!"
